The Marina Flamingo development team is steadfastly committed to maintaining a clean, environmentally responsible, and safe site for the good of the local environment, our contractors, and the local Costa Rican community. Marina Flamingo is a socially and environmentally responsible development that is aware of the interrelationship of the ocean with the rich biodiversity of the Guanacaste Province. Our focus is in promoting sustainable environmentally responsible practices and local ecotourism to create a vibrant community. Environmental monitoring programs, ecologically responsible site preparation and estuary and ocean water quality testing play key roles in achieving these goals.

Marina visitors will also enjoy a high-speed marina fueling station with a capacity of 48,000 gallons. A permanent maintenance repair shop and storage warehouses will provide a full-service boat yard for marina patrons.

Marina Flamingo Village

Complementing the world class Marina is the Marina Flamingo Village which includes a 4 story, 8,500 m2 mixed use building consisting of commercial and retail lease space and 40 hotel villas.

Stay onshore in one of the beautiful Villas overlooking the breathtaking Pacific coast shoreline and mangroves of Guanacaste. Indulge yourself with the spectacular ocean and mountain views of Costa Rica from your private terrace or while relaxing at the exclusive Marina club pool.

The Village will also include numerous shopping, dining, banking, and marina store options to make your stay a fun and relaxing one.

The Environment

Environmental sustainability and stewardship are at the very heart of the development and operational goals of Marina Flamingo. Together, and in collaboration with world-class expertise we strive to deliver and operate the Marina to the highest standards.

2022 Events

In 2022, Marina Flamingo hosted the 81st International Light Tackle Tournament (iltta.org/future-tournaments).  This event re-established Marina Flamingo on the Latin American and North American fishing stage. The historically important Presidential Flamingo Fishing Rodeo was August 5-7, 2022 (www.preschallenge.com). The Marina Flamingo grand opening was also held.

Slip and Villa reservations are now open, however, there is limited commercial space remaining. For those wishing to bring their business to this thriving new development, please let us know so that you may be placed on our phase two waiting list.  Contact us today to learn more at info@VisitMarinaFlamingo.com.
