Does Santa show up on the beach with a Sleigh pulled by Reindeer here? Or Is he catching the big wave and riding it into the area to deliver joy and gifts to everyone?

This year has been wonderful and full of surprises and nice happenings. Again, I keep saying this. We are blessed to be here and want to thank our guest country Costa Rica and its wonderful people for welcoming us and sharing their lifestyle with us. During this Holiday season, remember how lucky we are and look beyond and find a Charity or a Group that helps people of our community. We cannot turn a blind eye to the needs that surround us. Volunteer, donate, just get involved. It will enrich your life while helping those in need.

As we move into the New Year 2017, we are making changes to the publication and its surrounding media. We are introducing our new Dining Guide this month featuring restaurants and what they offer by areas. This is a useful guide that tourists will pick up to find great dining and specials in the area they are staying (Tamarindo, Villa Real, Huacas, Matapalo, Playa Grande, Palm Beach, Brasilito, Flamingo and Potrero/Surfside) Also useful to those venturing out to new areas to explore the happenings.

The biggest change for The Howler is our New Dynamic website, which is bringing us into the 21st century. Watch as we grow. We have a lot in store to become an incredible resource to the residents and tourists headed this way. Please visit us online, we have just launched our new site www.HowlerMag.com.
