Athletic Career
• Beginnings and Development: From a young age, she excelled in cycling, winning multiple youth titles and national championships in Costa Rica.
• Specialization: She combines road cycling with MTB, having been crowned Central American champion on several occasions across different disciplines.
• International Participation:
• She represented Costa Rica at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in the road cycling event.
• She also qualified for and competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she was notably designated as Costa Rica’s flag bearer for the opening ceremony.
• Giro d’Italia: She made history by becoming the first Costa Rican female cyclist to officially participate in the women’s Giro d’Italia in 2022.
• Professional Career: She has competed on international teams, including European teams with UCI status.
