Vientos Bajos Activity Center and Apartments
Jardin La Torre caters to the interests of every resident. In addition to acres of garden paths, it is across the street from Vientos Bajos (Low Winds) Activity Center, which provides myriad amenities such as a fitness center, golf simulator, library, hobby and activities room, and pickleball court—all open to residents and members. Vientos Bajos is the only indoor venue dedicated to the use by expats in the San Ramón area.
Vientos Bajos brings local and regional entertainment to the San Ramon area, featuring community and professional events and performances every year. With seating for over 120 guests, theater-style, residents experience incredible concerts and community theater in this unique, intimate setting. On the second floor of VB, you will find our small gym on the west end. On the east end, we have what may be the only golf simulator in Costa Rica. Clubs are available for play.
Third Floor: Atardecer Activities Room. Organized clubs and interest groups keep residents busy and socially active all year long. Clubs and activities include bridge, poker, theatre, table tennis, and various music groups to include chorus, ukulele group, band, recorder ensemble, and a bluegrass group. If you don’t find your driving interest already here, you’re welcome to begin a group. With so many activities and clubs to participate in, residents never have a dull moment living in this community. Most activities are free to residents or require a nominal fee to participate.

San Ramon is known for its well-organized and extremely active expat organizations. San Ramon also offers bus service from and to El Empalme—as well as to San Jose and the Juan Santamaria Airport. The Juan Santamaria International Airport is only a 45-minute drive, and downtown, San Jose, the nation’s capital, is only an hour away. The closest beach is also only an hour’s drive from Jardin La Torre.
